Step-by-Step Guide to Trash Dumpster Rental

Need to rent a dumpster?

PBS has a number of dumpster rentals available for demolition sites, construction, junk-removal at your home, and more.

Ready to Get Started? Here’s How to Rent Your Dumpster

  1. First, be prepared.

In other words, know what you want so that you can explain it to us, and we can help you find the best possible dumpster rental for your needs. You’ll want to know:

  • What will go inside the dumpster
  • How much you’ll need to put in the dumpster or what size you want (We can help with this!)
  • For how long you’ll need the dumpster
  • The address of delivery
  • What delivery time would be best
  1. Schedule your delivery.

Once you have all of the above information ready, give us a call to schedule your delivery! Again, we can help you figure out the best option for your needs in terms of type and size.

  1. Prepare for the delivery of your dumpster.

Before your dumpster arrives, you’ll want to make sure you have room for it. For homes, our dumpsters are driveway friendly, but you may still need to move your cars, children’s toys, basketball hoops, etc. Don’t forget to park cars in another area (besides your garage) so that you can still get out and in while the dumpster’s there.

You’ll also want to get the things that you’ll be putting into the dumpster as ready as possible. After all, if everything’s good-to-go, you’ll save money on your rental time.

  1. Fill your dumpster, then call for removal.

Start filling your dumpster as soon as it arrives. Remember, you cannot put the following into dumpsters:

  • Tires
  • Computers
  • Asbestos
  • Air conditioners, fridges, and anything else containing Freon
  • West paint
  • Solvents
  • Batteries

Once your dumpster is full, you can call for removal if you haven’t scheduled a removal time already.

All set? Give PBS Services a call today to schedule your dumpster!
